While this post has not been written exclusively to denigrate Trump supports, for those who are Trump supporters, denigrate means to “put down.”
Fact 1: Most Trump Supporters Have Never Met a Person of Color
A majority of Trump supporters are white. Many have beards. Those that don’t have beards are bald. Some are both bald, and have beards as well. This includes both the male and female Trump supporters.
With the rare exception of those who’ve attended the Trump rally and have actually met Maurice Woodside, the lone black supporter of Trump, most Trump supporters have never met a person of color, black, brown or otherwise, therefore only taking their cues on people of color from NCIS, the most popular TV show of Trump supporters.
On the few occasions a Trump supporter has come in contact with those of a race other than their own, their reaction has been as follows (see video below):
It should be pointed out, however, that many Trump supporters are big fans of Tiger Woods, Eddie Murphy and Star Trek The Motion Picture actress Persis Khambatta. While they tend to feel unsettled with this fact, most Trump supporters are not very good at math, and therefore cannot put the 2 + 2 together to solve this quandary.
Fact 2: Most Trump Supporters Are Unaware Of The Invention of Electricity
Not being smart enough to know that most municipalities have electrical grids that can be tapped into, or how batteries can be used to power flashlights, Trump supporters enjoy walking in groups with primitive torches to light up their current environment.
It should be pointed out that this ignorance of the power grid results in a frustration that leads to anger. Trump supporters tend to lash out at others they feel are smarter than them, or those they are scared of, which includes everyone they don’t know or understand, i.e. the majority of the human race. The large percentage of Trump supporters known as skinheads not only suffer from anger resulting from their astounding ignorance, but also for their inability to grow a full head of hair. For those proud of their hairless appearance, they remain haunted by their extraordinarily small, always flacid penises. This includes both male and female skinhead Trump supporters.
Fact 3: Most Trump Supporters, Like Most Conservatives, Are More Sensitive To Threat
We reference a recent study from Psychology Today:
Science has shown that the conservative brain has an exaggerated fear response when faced with stimuli that may be perceived as threatening. A 2008 study in the journal Science found that conservatives have a stronger physiological reaction to startling noises and graphic images compared to liberals. A brain-imaging study published in Current Biology revealed that those who lean right politically tend to have a larger amygdala — a structure that is electrically active during states of fear and anxiety.
To put this analysis in less complex language that a Trump supporter might understand, see below:
These folks are scared. Think about what that means.
They value traditional ways, preserving the past/what’s working (for them). Study after study after study show conservatives lean negative. They do not like “new” no matter how much better that “new” promises. Particularly if that “new” upsets what has been.
Conservatives may not admit it or feel it consciously, but they tend to live in fear, worry and insecurity. They follow authority, which makes them easy to lead and organize. That’s one reason why the Republican Party is so great at political messaging.
So, in short, conservatives view the world from a prism of fear, are cowardly, and easy to lead due to their need for authority.
Sound familiar? Oh, yes. That’s your typical Trump supporter — with the one caveat that Trump supporters tend to urinate on themselves at highly stressful moments. Like when their worldview is challenged...which means all the time. As a result, Trump supporters have very high dry cleaning bills.

Alright. Maybe some of you may think it’s in poor taste to make fun of Trump supporters. Maybe so, but I offer this rebuttal.
The right spends every waking hour, on Hannity, at rallies, through email and social media, and through the Presidency, spewing vile about the left from a position of power, but not only that. From that position of power they are able to act on their hatred.
This President and his minions, more than any other, create policy based on prejudices. Policy that affects those in poverty. Those without trust funds. Those from other countries. Those who just plain aren’t rich and white. And this is nothing new. The republicans have been doing this since Reagan.
We, on the left make our disgust with the right known. That’s a fact. The difference is how we govern. It’s with compassion and understanding and with a value on all people. Even those who hate us.
Trump supporters, unlike all the republicans before them, make that deep hatred they possess publicly known. And it’s a hatred that trumps all before it. It’s an ugly, inhuman hatred. And it has no place in this country. And because of that hatred, and the vessel they’ve chosen to push it, it’s gained a power that is both scary and sadly digressive.
So yes. I make fun of these people. Because unlike other people, who possess compassion and view the world from the perch of “There but for the grace of God go I”, Trump supporters are just looking to burn it all down and laugh while it happens. Some say we should try to understand them. I don’t think it’s worth our energy.
The only thing worth our energy is making sure these people never again have someone in the White House to look up to qualify their prejudices. This is a vote we cannot lose.
